As the year wraps up, we like to think back with gratitude about all of the work that keeps WilLine going. 2025 was a busy one, and for that we want to thank all of you for your continued support and business. Let’s get into our favorite projects of the year, ranked, and why we chose them!
10: Raised Deck and Patio
We worked with this customer to build their perfect deck, from the concrete patio below to the dark mahogany Trex Transcend decking. This deck is the perfect place for outdoor grilling, bird watching, and relaxing in the shade, and the sturdy composite construction ensures it will last years. We chose this on our top 10 list because of how well the earth toned boards match the deep green siding, with crisp white accents to make it vibrant.

9: Two Story Deck and Fireplace Trim
We gave this project the number 9 spot because it’s technically two jobs, so it might be considered cheating. We installed a new fireplace trim and the double story deck on this picturesque home. While we did the construction, what really made it come together was the beautiful decorating done by the client. Great taste.

8: Vibrant Summer Sanctuary
Our number 8 pick exemplifies why we love decking; the customer knew exactly what they wanted to transform their space into a perfectly optimized summer sanctuary. Steps away from the pool, it hosts a variety of geometric features: rounded stair entryway, integrating the existing two protruding sunrooms, brick walkway picture frame ramp, and the custom layout. The customer’s decoration was spot on too- from the blue circular geometric rugs to the spring blues and copper accents. This is one of our most unique deck builds of the year, and we’re very proud of how it came together!

7: Poolside A-Frame Patio
The more we do our work, the more we come to appreciate specific features that this deck exemplifies. The wide, composite wooden A-Frame roof gives the illusion of extra space and inviting warmth from the deep brown boards. The brick fireplace with mounted TV makes a perfect focal point for hosting and relaxing. Overhead heaters ensure comfort year round; whether you’re drying off from the pool in the summer or watching the first snowfall of the winter with your morning coffee.

6: Custom Indoor Features
Let’s switch gears from decks and focus on some interior work. Believe it or not, these photos are all from one home. The story behind this home is unique; it started as a barn and farmhouse, but with over a year’s worth of work, we doubled the space into and entirely new home addition. Featuring multiple bedrooms and picturesque views of Lancaster countryside; this home has tons of hidden design details that were all crafted with intention and love.

5: A-Frame Deck and Concrete
With the help of the concrete exerts at First Lite Masonry, this backyard was transformed into a 2.5 story oasis. Custom A-Frame roof, stone electric fireplace, outdoor heaters, and fully integrated lighting; this one has it all. It was such a pleasure to turn this customer’s dream into a reality. What gives this one an edge though is that expertly crafted concrete walkway!

4: Buffalo Farmhouse Full Renovation
As we get closer to the top 3 spots, it’s really hard to rank one over the other. That being said, this renovated antique farmhouse could easily take the top spots. Located on a acres of pristine buffalo farmland, this 3.5 story home faces the sunrise every morning and overlooks the whole farm. In addition to renovating the old home, we doubled the space with an addition in the back.

3: Custom Deck
This deck is like nothing else on the list. In addition to being built around the existing landscaping to fit neatly into the yard, it has a plethora of unique features that we’re proud to showcase. These include a remote control awning to block or allow sunlight at the press of a button, a metal spiral staircase leading to the turf play area, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, fireplace and heaters, custom masonry, standing seam roofing, and a privacy fence for outdoor hosting. Many of the details can be seen in the arial shot featured!

2: Full Custom Home Build
We built this modern home from the ground up! In about a year, this home came together beautifully. Equip with all of our favorite features, we hope the owners love their new custom house for years to come! Andersen windows illuminate this spacious open floor plan with natural light, leading out the sliding doors to a massive A-Frame deck. As always, we’ve set it up for any season with heaters, ample lighting, and integrated fans. It’s always exciting to test our skills with a full home build, and this one came along perfectly!

1: Hosting Guest House
At the top of our list this year is a three-story guest house that completely redefined what “additional living space” can be. Designed to function as both a private retreat and a full-scale gathering venue, the home features a fully equipped chef’s kitchen anchored by an L ’Atelier range and commercial-grade refrigerator, plus a dedicated pizza oven built for real entertaining. The heart of the project is the soaring, timber-framed meeting hall, where exposed beams, warm stone, and custom millwork create a space equally suited for large dinners, workshops, or celebrations. Beyond that, the house unfolds into multiple bedrooms, a quiet library nook, and a kids’ wing with a theater room and projector for movie nights. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding bay doors open the main level directly to a poolside porch, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living. Every floor, room, and system was designed to support long stays and large groups without compromise.
